  1. Love this site. Quick question. You mention "sexy,"and I would love to know your thoughts about this word in relation to God and the world's view of this word.

  2. Firstly, I certainly appreciate your comments and your keen observations of the content and discussion points. I did mention "sexy," somewhat aware of its provocative connotation, but I intentionally added the quotations because I think of this word in a very different sense. I recognize the desire of today's woman to be "sexy." We want to be sexually desired. And I don't think being a Christian makes these urges just disappear. God made us as sexual creatures, and to supress this gift coudl be dangerous, as well. However, God has constructed a safe, glorifying way in which we can express our likeness. Sexy in our culture is often about mystery and allure. I think these speak largely to the character of God, and perhaps are some of the ways woman are made in His image. I do not, however, think sexiness has anything to do with red lipstick, low-cut, tight, or short. All to do with the mystery of God. Scandalous perhaps. But I think it is important to change our values and reset HOW we think of who we are as images of God.

    Thanks for the comment,
